Quick start

Sign in, add your first plot and zones, and get your first watering report tomorrow.

Get Agent Aqua running in just a few minutes. You'll sign in, create your first plot, add some zones, and receive your first watering report tomorrow at the time you chose.

1. Sign in

Open Agent Aqua on mobile or web. You'll see a sign-in screen. Choose either:

  • Magic link: enter your email, check your inbox, and click the emailed link.
  • Passkey: if you've already added one to your account, use Face ID, Touch ID, or your device PIN.

Passwordless sign-in means no password to remember or reset.

2. Create your first plot

Once signed in, you'll see an empty dashboard. Tap or click Add a plot. You'll need:

  • Plot name: anything you like ("Front garden", "Balcony", "Allotment").
  • Plot type: choose what fits — House garden, Vineyard, Apartment balcony, Parkland, Allotment, or Greenhouse. This sets the scene you'll see on the dashboard.
  • Location: tap Use my location to let the app detect it, or type your latitude and longitude.
  • Timezone: pick your IANA timezone — it needs to match your location so Agent Aqua knows when to run daily checks.
  • Notification email: where your daily reports will land. You can update this later.
  • Daily check time: what time each day you'd like Agent Aqua to send its report.

Tap Create plot when done.

3. Add zones and plants

Now you'll see the empty plot. Tap Add zone to create your first area. Each zone needs:

  • Name: "Back lawn", "Veg beds", "Hanging baskets" — whatever makes sense to you.
  • Plants: type a plant name and press Enter. Agent Aqua will correct the spelling and work out how much water that plant needs.
  • Watering method: Drip line, Soaker hose, Micro-spray, Sprinkler, Oscillating sprinkler, or Hand watering.
  • Watering time: how many minutes you usually water this zone for. Agent Aqua will suggest a sensible default, and you can change it.
  • Notes: Agent Aqua fills this in automatically with zone-specific guidance.

You can add up to 5 zones per plot. Add as many as you need, then tap Save plot.

4. What happens next

Your first daily check will run tomorrow at the time you chose. You'll receive a report by email (and push notification if you're on mobile) listing each zone with a water or skip verdict and the reason.

After the first few checks, you'll see charts on your dashboard showing your watering patterns over time.
