Agent Aqua keeps a history of every daily check and shows you patterns in your watering over time. You'll find this on the Timeline page and in your dashboard charts.
The timeline
Tap or click Timeline from your plot's menu. You'll see a reverse-chronological list of every check Agent Aqua has run, going back weeks or months. For each run, you'll see:
- The date and time the check ran.
- How many zones needed watering that day.
- A breakdown of each zone — its name, the verdict (water or skip), and the reason.
- For watered zones, the number of minutes you'd water for.
The timeline is useful if you're trying to remember how often a particular zone gets watered, or if you want to see what Agent Aqua decided on a specific day — useful for troubleshooting if you think a decision was off.
Scroll back as far as you like. The timeline keeps records as long as the plot exists.
Dashboard charts
After you've had a few daily checks, your dashboard will show two charts:
Watered days: a calendar view showing which days had at least one zone watered. Darker shades mean more zones were watered that day. This gives you a quick visual sense of your watering frequency and patterns across weeks and months.
Run minutes: a line chart showing the total watering minutes per day over time. If you water for 30 minutes one day and 45 the next, you'll see that trend. Useful for spotting seasonal patterns — summer runs tend to climb; autumn runs taper off.
When charts appear
The charts need a few daily checks to build up enough data to display. Once you have enough history, they'll appear automatically on your dashboard. Until then, you'll just see the timeline.
Why history matters
Looking back at your watering patterns helps you fine-tune your setup. If you notice a zone always gets skipped, maybe its plants have lower water needs than you thought. If you're watering much more in summer, that's normal and shows Agent Aqua is responding to seasonal weather. If a zone's timeline shows it was watered after heavy rain, that's a sign to check your zone setup (see understanding your daily report) or your plot's location and timezone.
The timeline is also handy for spotting trends: how often you actually water, how your garden's thirst changes with the seasons, and how changes to your zone setup (adding more plants, changing irrigation method) affect things.
